| Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival September 11 - 13, 2009 Canadian and International acts. Entertainment on mainstage, bars and restaurants. Come out and enjoy the main stage or check out great acts in all the local bars and restaurants. The Street Shuffle will see Lakeshore Road turn into a pedestrian-only area. | |
Fourth Annual August 21 - 23 Buskerfest Festival This year the Buskerfest Festival was a hit! A cheque presentation was made to LCCT from donations received at the finale show of the amazing Buskerfest event. | |
| "A Taste of Port Credit" The Lakeshore Corridor Community Team was most pleased to be the recent recipient of funds raised in the amount of $2100.00. This donation was the result of an October event held and hosted by the Women of the Port Credit Yacht Club, entitled "A Taste of Port Credit". Members purchased a Passport for a Culinary Journey through several of our local Port Credit eateries.
The nine participants were: The Brogue Inn, Thai by the Lake, Ten Restaurant & Wine Bar, Higher Groundz, Lago, The Harp, Jam Martini & Wine Bar, Gourmet on the Go and Thyme 4 Pizza & Pasta. | |

| A BIG Thank You to "YOU" ..for your support! The Santa photos provided us with a donation of $205.00.
The Mississauga Civitans Club presented a cheque to LCCT through me last week in the amount of $500.00
The Curves Christmas Bazaar was a huge success and provided LCCT with a $900.00, a portion of which will be used to help two local families and two seniors with special needs at this time. We are doing a photo op this morning at CURVES with the Port Credit Village Times and SNAP also attended the event. |
