Sandy Smale - Community Relationships
Long time Port Credit resident Sandy Smale is the Community Relationships Developer for Lakeshore Corridor Community team and has been for the past 7 years. She has worked tirelessly to assist those in need in the community and is always willing to lend a hand when needed.

Sandy has been a community volunteer for over 20 years and holds Southside Shuffle Jazz and Blues Festival dear to her heart.  In 2011 she will celebrate her 10th year as a Team Leader.  In the Fall of 2010 she became one of the first of three inductees into the SSS Volunteer Hall of Fame.  

In 2010 Rotary Mississauga honoured Sandy with a Paul Harris Fellow Award, the highest level of achievement given by the Rotary International for community work.

Karen O'Connell - President
Karen, a resident of Clarkson, is the owner of the decorating firm Karen O'Connell Designs.  She believes in giving back to the community that has been so supportive of her in her business endeavours.  Helping others move forward in their lives is something that Karen strives to do.
Norma Johnston - Vice-President
Norma is a long standing resident of Mississauga and a great community volunteer. She is a member of the Civitans and devotes a lot of her free time to fundraising and helping others. Norma has run the “Community Meal” program in at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church in Port Credit for over ten years now. Norma comes to LCCT with lots of great ideas, tons of experience and most of all - a big heart.
Jack Sloggett - Board Member
Jack has been a resident of Port Credit on and off for over 25 years.  It took moving away to realize just what a great place it really is.  He has, for many years, been involved in a variety of community events like Canada Day and the Southside Shuffle, using his organizational skills to bring teams together.  Jack's background includes many years as a "performance improvement" consultant, working with organizations to deliver better results for all stakeholders. He is currently the General Manager of HME Ltd., specializing in mobility and accessibility equipment and services for those with physical disabilities. He says "Getting involved in the community is the best entertainment I've ever found!"
Marion Morewood - Board Member
Marion is the Owner of The Basketcase (gift basket store) in Port Credit.  She chairs the Port Credit Business Improvement Area and sits on the Port Credit Advisory Panel. A long time resident and volunteer in Port Credit, she was the Volunteer Coordinator of the Southside Shuffle Blues and Jazz Festival from 2004 to 2006.  Marion has been a Director on the board of LCCT since 2006.
Alex Gregory - Board Member
Alex Gregory is the editor for RJ Entertainment Publishing, which publishes the following community magazines and papers: Clarkson's Corners, Lakeshore Villages, Evening Out Magazine, Port Credit Village Times and the Streetsville Village Times. In addition to his work with RJ Publishing, Alex volunteers with several different community organizations in Mississauga, including Citizens for the Advancement of Community Development and the Port Credit Ratepayers Association.
